Mark Nystrom Studio

Each of these drawings is a recording of a day's winds. At the start of the day, the tip of a pen outfitted with sails and suspended over some paper is placed in the paper's center. The top of the paper is oriented towards north. Left all day to draw, the pen moves across the paper's surface making a record of its movement.
